BAGGAGE

What are the baggage restrictions?

 

Checked baggage will be restricted to an absolute maximum of sixty four kilos (64 kgs.) or one hundred and forty pounds

(140 lbs.) for any one passenger. Also any one piece of baggage weighing more than thirty two kilos (32 kgs.)/seventy pounds

(70 lbs.) or exceeding overall dimensions (length plus width plus height) of sixty two inches (62 ins.) will not be accepted for

carriage as checked baggage.

 

Surfboards and Sailboards are not acceptable as baggage.

Musical instruments are not included in passengers free baggage allowance and are accepted as excess baggage on a space

available basis only. Bicycles are not included in passengers free baggage allowance and are accepted on a space available basis

only at a special charge. What is considered excess baggage?

 

All baggage over and above the free baggage allowance of twenty kilos (23 kgs.) or fifty pounds (50 lbs.) per adult/child passenger

and excluding the items mentioned above as personal items will be charged for at the appropriate excess baggage rate. Excess

What is my free baggage allowance?

 

Each adult/child passenger has a free baggage allowance of twenty kilos (23kgs) or fifty pounds (50lbs). This allowance includes the

weight of cabin baggage (unchecked baggage).

 

How many bags am I allowed to carry on?

 

Each passenger is allowed one (1) carry-on bag which is subject to a maximum weight of 3 kilos or 6 pounds. In addition to the carry-on luggage, a customer may carry a handbag or pocketbook, overcoat or wrap, umbrella or walking stick, camera, binoculars and

reading material for the flight.

 

How do I report a baggage mishandling situation?

 

Notice of missing, damage, or pilferage of checked baggage must be given to WINAIR at the airport immediately upon arrival.

 

 


 

BOARDING PASSES

Since we do not facilitate on-line check-in, at this time, it is not possible to print your boarding passes on-line. Boarding passes

will be issued on check-in.

 

 

 


CASH/CHEQUES

Can I pay for my reservation with cash or cheques?

 

WINAIR accepts cash for payment at all WINAIR ticket counter or City office locations. Personal checks are not accepted

 

 

 


CHILDREN

Can I book a reservation with children on www.fly-winair.com ?

 

Yes: you can book a reservation for your child/children online.

 

Can I bring my child's car seat on board?

 

Approved infant seats are accepted in the cabin when an additional seat is purchased at a child's fare for the infant.

Note: Bassinets, infant seats and strollers may be accepted as checked baggage at no extra charge, and are not considered

part of the customer's free baggage allowance.

 

 

 


CREDIT CARDS

Which credit cards are accepted by WINAIR as payment of my travel?

 

We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

 

 

 


FARES

Why is the offered fare no longer available?

 

WINAIR flights are capacity controlled, which means as each flight sells, your fare may no longer be available.

All fares are quoted as "currently" and are only guaranteed at the time of purchase. WINAIR offers a range of fares.

All fares are subject to change until purchase.

 

 

 


INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

What documentation is required when I travel?

 

Traveling on the WINAIR network is considered International travel. All customers are required to present proof

of citizenship such as a passport at the WINAIR checkin counter. Passengers must keep proper documentation on their person

during travel. It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure that they have the correct documents needed

for travel to any destination. Passenger's must also carry a copy of their itinerary as proof of their onward or return journey.

 

 

 


PETS

What type of pets do you allow?

 

WINAIR transports SMALL domestic pets only, such as dogs, cats and small domestic birds which cannot weigh more

than 15 pounds. Pets are transported in the cargo compartment only and require import/export licenses and veterinary clearances.

Pets must in approved kennels for transport and must be confirmed by our reservations department.

 

How much does it cost to travel with my pet?

 

Live animals are carried at our present Excess baggage rates which can be found in our Travel Tips sections.

 

What size carrier do I need for my pet?

 

Your pet's container/kennel must not exceed 26" length x 24" width x 36" height.

 

If I am traveling with a pet, can I book my reservation online?

 

The number of pets allowed in the cargo compartment is subject to space availability, therefore, you must

REFUNDS

How do I obtain a refund?

 

WINAIR fares are non- refundable; however under certain conditions unused transportation may be

converted to credit.

 

 

 


RESERVATIONS

How many passengers can be booked on a reservation?

 

You may book up to nine (9) passengers on a reservation.

 

If I want to book more than nine (9) passengers, what do I do?

 

If you would like to book travel for ten (10) or more passengers traveling together as a group, please

contact a WINAIR sales outlet, the WINAIR Call centre at 866-466-0410 or 001-599-545-4237 or

your favorite travel agent.

 

How far in advance can I book a reservation online?

 

Our flight schedules are loaded 300 days out; therefore, you are able to book reservations online

up to almost a year in advance.

 

How do I correct a misspelled name on my reservation?

to correct the spelling of your name on your reservation.

 

When can I change my reservations online?

How much is it if I change my reservations?

 

You will be charged US$25.00 per segment per passenger plus any difference in fare when changing

your reservation online.

 

One of the passengers on my reservation cannot travel with me. How can I remove a passenger from my reservation?

When can I cancel my reservation?

What happens when I cancel a reservation online?

 

When a reservations is cancelled at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure, you are able to apply

Call center at 866-466-0410. Credit can be redeemed for future travel that is booked and completed one (1) year from the

date the original reservation was booked.

 

What happens if I do not cancel my reservation calling the WINAIR call centre?

 

If you do not cancel at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight, do not show up for

your flight, or do not board the aircraft for any reason, your reservation will be automatically cancelled and you

will forfeit the value of your reservations. You are therefore advised to always change or cancel any reservation that you do not

intend to use.

 

 


 

SPECIAL SERVICE REQUESTS

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS

Unfortunately Winair does not accept any unaccompanied m inors due to safety reasons as there are not flight attendants on board our aircrafts.
